BlockBlast is an exciting, fast-paced arcade game where your goal is to clear all the blocks on the screen while keeping the red ball in play. With colorful blocks, dynamic power-ups, and smooth controls, it’s designed to be fun on both desktop computers and mobile devices.

Gameplay Overview

• Red Ball: The main character of the game. It bounces around the screen, breaking blocks. On desktop, you can optionally nudge it using arrow keys. On mobile, the ball moves automatically.

• Paddle: The green bar at the bottom that prevents the ball from falling off the screen. Move it with mouse (desktop) or finger drag (mobile).

• Blocks: Arranged in rows at the top of the screen. Break all blocks to advance to the next level. Each level adds more rows and increases the challenge.

• Power-Ups: Special falling blocks that provide temporary advantages:

  • Cyan: Paddle grows larger for easier control

  • Yellow: Ball speed boost for faster block clearing

  • Purple: Extra points (+50 points instantly)

Controls

• Desktop:

  • Move paddle: Mouse movement

  • Optional: Move ball using arrow keys

• Mobile:

  • Move paddle: Drag finger along the bottom of the screen

  • Ball moves automatically; catch power-ups with paddle

Objective

• Break all the blocks in each level to progress.

• Catch power-ups to gain advantages.

• Avoid letting the ball fall past the paddle—if it touches the bottom, it’s Game Over.
